Pulsar360, Inc. announced today that they have opened their fourth regional data center at ChimeNet in Wallingford, Connecticut.
In addition to expanding its geographic diversity, Pulsar360 is enhancing its capabilities and relationship with its strategic partners in the State of Connecticut.
Last year Pulsar360 announced its partnership with Genie Innovations, Inc. (dba IP Genie) to be the service provider for its sole-source contract with the Connecticut Capitol Region Council of Governments (CRCOG) and the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology, Inc. (CCAT).
"ChimeNet was a logical choice because they offer connectivity to all of the major telecommunications carriers and provide one of the most reliable and most secure network infrastructures available in Connecticut", stated Michael Dozier, President & CEO of Pulsar360. "Further, the Connecticut Education Network (CEN) has a direct connection into the ChimeNet data center. All Genie Innovation and Pulsar360 Hosted Solutions and SIP Trunks will be directly connected to customers on the CEN network. Along with our highly reliable and fully redundant offerings, this provides the most direct, the fastest and the most reliable connection possible to users on the CEN network," stated Dozier.
"We are thrilled to partner with Pulsar360, a leader in hosted voice communications systems, to utilize the ChimeNet secure data center," said Matt Hoey, Director, CLEC Operations, ChimeNet. "Together we will expand statewide access to Pulsar360 and Genie Innovations services, which will enable clients to have secure, reliable access to hosted voice services at competitive rates."
